1/29/19 - Misc Info FYI:


This is one of dozens of blogs that I have about Nautilus Cove/PCB and all of them are pretty much out of service as I have been gone for several years after living there part time for about 4+ years and eventually selling the condo unit back to the developer at a $65,000 loss.  My advice to those thinking of a condo in Florida as a 2nd home or investment is 'forget it'.  If you feel like a Florida vacation then stay in a motel.  


So with the passage of time I have posted less and less.  The sites 'may' now and then have another post but it is pretty much off my radar scope these days.  So take a look, you might find something of interest, I see that several folks come back repeatedly and are probably disappointed to find nothing new here.  Thanks for looking in -

CONDOS FOR SALE AT NAUTILUS COVE

Here is a good tip for those very few people who want to buy a condo here:  DO NOT buy a unit being offered by the Developer who is 'Gulf Blvd. Partners, LLC'!

They are greatly over priced $20-25K over private sales.   Yes, they will knock down the price but then any seller will do that.


3 of the 5 units above are offered by the Developer, the tip off on price is that they all end with the price being $XXX,987.


Keep in mind that all the Developer units are hard used as they all have been rented out many times since 2008 when they came on line.  


Always buy from private owners and use the Bay County internet sites to look up the owners and historical sale prices.

So is this Blog 'OPEN' or is it 'CLOSED'?

Well, it is pretty much closed but I do now and then add bits and pieces to it.

This blog goes back to 2007 when I purchased here, but I sold my condo in January 2013 and of course my interest level has dropped considerably.

Still there is quite a lot of information here that is of value to Owners, Renters or those considering a purchase, so the blog will remain so all can access the info, it just won't be added to very often.

A word from the blog site owner:

In blogosphere terms this is a relatively old blog. All the fireworks are over and there will be no new updates unless something 'newsworthy' about this issue comes up.  

Note:  In mid-Jan 2013 I sold my condo at NCC for $93,000, this was about 8% over the going rate for 3/2 condos.  The offer from the developer to repurchase the unit was made 2 weeks after my filing to run for the Board of Directors with the sole platform of bouncing Concord Management out of NCC.

The condo was consistantly mis-managed and all but the very last Board were worthless rubber stamps for the Developer and Concord.  I am pleased to be gone from NCC.
